Day two of no caffeine!

Welcome to the diary of someone recovering from habitual us of caffeine...

No, I'm kidding, I won't go on about this

During today’s tutorial we were supposed to find commonalities within our group, and one person suggested we all have caffeine, and I had to say that I just cut it.

So I’m already experiencing the real life drawbacks of being off it.

After the tutorial with Emanuela, I managed to pick up my student card!

I also sat in building 2 (the glass one (Innovation 2.0)) for half an hour after class and wrote the description for the PPI video I did yesterday and handed in my first assignment!

Lunch: Spag Bol

Photo

...as I learned in today's tutorial is the cool Aussie way to say it. Yes, seriously. I thought he kind of wanted to say Spike Ball, but softened the sounds too much. But that’s the way you say it here in Australia: spag bol!!🇦🇺🩴🤙

After lunch

Instead of an after-lunch coffee I had an after-lunch nap!

And I was feeling pretty sluggish and unmotivated, but in the end I'm happy how the day turned out!

Laundry

Photo

Did laundry!

And while I waited for that I played some pool with Vivi and Jetti (aka Jetski)

Then it really started pouring!

I had planned to go for a walk after I’d hung my laundry to dry, but that plan changed…

Instead, I planned a bit for Saturday. We are going to watch SailGP and the Mardi Gras parade!

Free dinner time!!

Free dinner time!!

Apparently, every Tuesday and Thursday, they give out free noodles!

And it’s really good!!

Picked a Thai chicken broth, and then added my own toppings!

Also tried a plum I’ve never seen before

Was a bit too quick to eat and too late to take the photo, but oh well…

Dinner entertainment

Added a word game to the blog

Had the remains of the noodle, alone, in my room, in the dark at 10pm. And thought: damn, it’s even better now, when everything had time to soak and spread out evenly

Note to self: next time I’ll add more tofu

Final note

Today my roommate told me: ”I feel like you’d have good-looking friends”. That might be a compliment to me, but most importantly, if you are reading this, it’s most definitely a compliment to you!
